Adapted Explanations to my Needs

When I saw this semester that I was required to take Statistics, my palms began to sweat, and my stomach twisted into knots. I have horrible Post Traumatic Stress from years of struggling with Math classes, but was fortunate enough to find Ms. Dian Schuler through the Wyzant App. She has been one of the best tutors that I have had during the past year.

I am a first year MBA Student who also has significant visual impairment and I am also not able to physically write. Despite these challenges, Ms. Schuler did not shy away from taking on the challenge of tutoring me, instead, she embraced the challenge and spoke to me in terms of “how can we do this and how I can help?” No question was too elementary; she always took the time to explain every concept thoroughly and adapted content so that I could understand it with my mind instead of with my eyes.

I am extremely grateful to Ms. Schuler for her assistance to help me pass my Statistics Course and I would highly recommend her to anyone who is studying the subject of Statistics, whether in high school, college or beyond.

She is an excellent tutor, she was patient with me and had external information immediately available to help me better understand what I was trying to learn. We went over concepts from Type I and Type II errors, p and alpha values, to ANOVAS. She was ready for all my questions!
